Ski and snowboard 120 km of perfectly groomed slopes, panoramic views and guaranteed snow: snowboarding and skiing on Plan de Corones put you in a good mood! Beginners glide on the blue slopes in the direction of Geiselsberg, advanced skiers break records on the “World Record slope”. Or whiz across the “Black Five” on brisk boards. Freestylers have fun in the snow park, little skiers in the kid’s park, connoisseurs with a cappuccino on the sun terrace. Bet your skiing holiday at Plan de Corones will be unforgettable?!
The Hotel Krone is only a 5-minute drive from the Kronplatz valley station. On request, our “shuttle driver” will bring you directly to the valley station.
Our ski hotel in Val Pusteria is also connected to the Sesto Dolomites ski region: You can travel comfortably by train from Percha to Versciaco and from there by gondola to the Helm. Whether Helm or Kronplatz: Enjoy flaky fun on the slopes with unique views of the Dolomites!
Of course we are not far from the ski regions in the Ahrntal: Speikboden and Klausberg.

From December onwards, the Pustertal will appear in a glittering white winter dress. Take a leisurely hike through the landscape on snow-cleared footpaths. Or strap on your snowshoes and explore the higher elevations on Plan de Corones or in the neighboring valleys. Winter hiking in Val Pusteria is healthy and beautiful. And as a reward, the view of a majestic three thousand awaits

Easy routes lead through the Reischach sports zone (5.5 km). The Mecca for experts, however, is the nearby Antholzertal, the famous venue for the Biathlon World Cup with its 55 km long sunny, valley and high-altitude trails. Rieserfernergruppe and Antholzer See also form a highly picturesque backdrop. High-altitude trails can also be found on the Plätzwiese and in Rein in Taufers, a true Eldorado for experienced and passionate cross-country skiers.

Bruneck in the Puster Valley is not only an ideal starting point for mountain bike tours, but also for road trips and of course for family bike tours (bank bike trails along the Rienz, Ahr). Bruneck is also a popular stage destination on the cycle route from “Brenner to Venice” (cycle route).
There are numerous down-hill courses on the nearby Kronplatz mountain.
